Drug Arrest

Dear All,

Plain clothes officers from your ward team made a significant arrest this morning on the corner of Ashley Place and Carlisle Place. A young male who we suspect has become a regular drug dealer in the area was observed surrounded by known users and seen to be making exchanges. The male was searched under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act. During the search the officers found a 40cm rambo style knife in the male's waistband. He was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon and taken into custody. A further search uncovered 190 wraps of class A drugs. The male remains in custody while the investigation continues.
